THE 2024 BC JOB SEARCH GUIDE
Organized as the definitive tool in Ontario job search, the 2024 Ontario Job Search Guide, being released November 22nd, 2024, will provide a comprehensive set of resources for anyone seeking employment in Ontario. The guide will include a complete list of employment programs and services (sorted by region); list of government supports and resources; sources for job search; labour market information; and tips and strategies geared to accessing the hidden job market.
REACH 92,000 PREQUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS
The 2024 Ontario Job Search Guide is being distributed throughout the network of the Ontario Labour Market Report. Since it was founded in 2014, the Ontario Labour Market Report has established a network of more than 9,200 career professionals, who are providing employment and career counselling services to tens of thousands of job seekers as well as students in secondary schools, colleges and universities. These professionals are employed in government-funded employment programs; directing individuals to resources in libraries; and assisting individuals in organizations focused on the needs of Indigenous Canadians, immigrants, those with disabilities, women and youth.
This group of professionals assist an estimated 105,000 job seekers, 145,000 secondary school students and 200,000 students in college and university. Distributing both print and electronic copies throughout our network, we estimate throughout the course of 2024, the Ontario Job Search Guide will be read by 92,000 individuals.
